Our day starts at Warwick Castle, home of the Kingmaker, whose story you’ll see, hear, and smell about! Step back into the Middle Ages to see a bowman in action beneath the battlements of the castle and see the mighty trebuchet in action. Revisit the Edwardian weekend party to see a young Winston Churchill. The Great Hall holds some fine armaments from hundreds of years ago next to the private apartments of the former owners of the castle. On certain dates, you can see some real jousting!

A short drive takes us to Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of William Shakespeare. Here we will drive through the town seeing some of the sites associated with the Bard, including Holy Trinity, where he was baptised and buried, the school he attended, and the home he was born in.

Drive through the Cotswolds, as you enjoy views of the lovely landscape and stone villages. A designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is the English countryside at its finest. We will stop at Bourton-on-the-Water and Bibury, the two most loved villages of the Cotswolds.
